I had been looking for a part time business of my own for quite some
time to help supplement our family financial situation.  In the past I've
been a grocery clerk, a bank teller, sold lingerie & make-up at home
parties, lived in the mountains of Northern Colorado running a
chainsaw all day cutting trees & loading trucks in a fuel-wood logging
operation, was a kitchen/bath designer/salesman at a DIY type store,
OTR truck driver for 3 years, married my dispatcher 20 years ago and
for 16 years I was a stay-at-home mom with my 2 boys, until a General
Contractor ripped us off on an addition to our home, forcing me to
seek employment outside the home once again.  It was always a joke
of mine that if I ever had to get a job, before I flipped burgers at
McDonald's I was going to work at Waffle House
.  I put in my
application, got hired, went home, cried for 3 days & began my new
adventure.
My husband didn't think I'd last a week, then it was a
month and no one could believe I made it a year & 3 months!  It was
the hardest job I've ever had but I am a survivor & I stuck it out.  My
customers were wonderful; I really miss the people and I've met & kept
many friends from there, still seeing them even after I quit.
One of those good customer/friends is now my mentor and #1
associate.  He's retired and has been working on windshield's for over
10 years.  He has taken me under his wing, made me his apprentice,
teaching me everything he knows about repairing windshields & I could
never thank him enough for giving me the opportunity to learn this
business and when things are down, he's always up beat & positive to
lift my spirits.  When I was afraid to walk into a business & talk to a
shop foreman, he went with me to help build my confidence.  His
favorite saying?  "I've been kicked out of better places!"
How did I come up with the name A+++?  I thought long and hard
about my  business name and one day I was on e-Bay reading
feedback from a seller I was checking out.  He had over 500  positive
feedbacks and every single one of them were A+++ ... Superb,
excellent service, would highly recommend, would definitely do
business with them again & again...  A+++ means that you're GOOD!
So, that's what I strive to be:  A+++!
One of the reasons I feel like I'm a better choice over my competitors
is that I'm extremely conscientious of my work.  A typical repair should
only take about 20 minutes but I have spent  over an hour on a single
chip
, occasionally even longer, because I want to make sure that every
repair that I do is the absolute best that I can make it.  ""Good Enough"
is not in my vocabulary;  "As Best as It Can Be", is!
So, when looking for someone to repair a chip in your windshield,
please consider me.  Remember, more expensive isn't always better
and cheapest doesn't always mean you get what you pay for!  I have
been ripped off & it isn't fun....  I don't have it in me to do it to someone
else.  My motto:  "Quality Isn't Expensive.... It's Priceless!"
